Jon Evans is a commercial photographer and videographer based in Hamilton, Ontario, serving the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA) and clients across Canada. With 27 years of professional photography experience, Jon specializes in branding portraits, headshots, food photography, industrial photography, architectural photography, and video production, helping businesses communicate their story, showcase their people, and elevate their brand with professional visuals that resonate.
Jon’s approach emphasizes authenticity, problem-solving, and creative storytelling. Whether photographing executives in a corporate office, high-tech machinery on a factory floor, or food on a studio set, he carefully crafts lighting, composition, and perspective to tell the story in a way that feels genuine and compelling. No matter the environment, Jon thrives on finding solutions to challenging shoots, capturing moments that highlight both professionalism and personality.
Over the years, Jon has worked with notable clients including Hamilton International Airport, Black & McDonald, CN Tower, and Metrolinx, and has contributed his skills to community organizations such as United Way of Burlington and Hamilton and the YMCA of Hamilton, Burlington, and Brantford. When he’s not behind the camera, Jon enjoys backcountry camping, portaging and canoeing, hiking, and CrossFit, bringing the same energy and focus to his adventures as he does to his projects. He also dedicates time to volunteer photography work, mentoring aspiring photographers, and teaching workshops, sharing his knowledge with the next generation of creatives. In addition, Jon pursues creative exploration, experimenting with new techniques, styles, and artistic projects that keep his vision fresh and inspired.
