| Below are some of the more common FAQ's. If your questions isn't answered here, please get in touch. Q- Where is the studio located A- We are located at 468 Cumberland Ave, Hamilton ON L8M 3M5 (google map). Q- What should I wear to my shoot A- Each type of shoot has specific requirements, upon booking your session you will receive an email with all you need to know about wardrobe Q- What retouching is done on my portrait?A - For a corporate head shot, we ensure the colour is correct, density and contrast is correct, we even go so far as to provide minimal skin softening. For your modelling portfolio, we take liberty to digitally enhance your photos to ensure you are looking as amazing as possible. All retouching is done to the studios standards Q- What are my proofs?A- Proofs are unedited images from your photoshoot. Usually available as a secure web gallery, these images are what you are going to look at in order to select your final image(s).Q- How long does it take to prepare my proofs?A- Depending on the type of shoot it can take up to two weeks for your proofs to be online, corporate portrait clients have an opportunity to view and choose they photos immediately following the session Q- Do you recommend Hair and Make-up?A- Yes, even if you're used to doing your own hair and make-up in the morning the requirements for your session are best left to the professionals. A professional hair and make-up artist knows exactly how to make you look good for the camera. Always a wise investment. Hair and Make-up can be added to any portrait package for $100 per person. Q- Do you require a deposit? A- We accept a 50% retainer on all portrait commissions, commercial photography is quoted separately. Q- Can I postpone, cancel or reschedule my shoot? A - Yes, of course you can. As long as I have 48 hours advanced notice there is no charge, if you get in touch withing 48 hours your retainer is forfeit. Q- What payment methods do you accept? A- We accept; cash, personal cheque, MasterCard, Visa and PayPal |
